Bedwardine House stands in tranquil surroundings of almost two acres of grounds adjacent to open countryside. The main House is of Georgian period which has been tastefully restored and now provides twenty four bedrooms. We have ten ensuite bedrooms and fourteen with vanity unit facilities. All rooms are furnished, have TV and are linked to a nurse call system. We have either central heating or under floor heating throughout.
There are two large lounges, a conservatory dining room and a large decked patio to the rear for the further enjoyment of the residents.
The House is on two floors with a passenger lift providing access to either levels. Our well equipped five star kitchen provides a variety of freshly cooked food and menus, with an emphasis on a healthy diet. However, we are able to cater for all dietry requirements.
We have shower, wet rooms and toilets on both floors.
All professional personal services are available. A hairdresser visits twice weekly, and a chiropodist on a monthly basis. Other services eg optician, dentist etc visit as and when required. Monthly services are conducted by local visiting clergy.
Our objective is to ensure that our residents are provided with a good quality of life in our warm and friendly House. They are encouraged to take advantage of the daily activities in order to maintain their physical and mental abilities. Our wide range of activities include ball games, music, dancing, quizes, bingo, table games croquet, etc. Our semi rural location provides an ideal situation for safe local walks with carers, or indeed walks within the grounds to take in views to the Malvern hills.
